Total Concentration System
Evatros T.C.S™ (Total Concentration System) is
all in one solution featuring evaporator, ventilation system, gas generator developed with
Goojung Engineering's own technology and know-how.

Evatros mini
Evatros mini is a benchtop sized evaporator and it can be placed in a fume hood.
Evatros mini, Evaporator is a gas blowing type of samp le pre-treatment in strument capab le
of up to 24 samp le preparation. Each 24 nozzle can independently be utilized and constant ly
supp li es gas with out va ri ation of flow and pressure regardless of the number of nozzles
used.
A unique design of terraced structure of the aluminum heating block with slit enab les a user
to monitor comfortab ly the progress of samp le concentration .

All in One Solution for your Lab!
Goojung ENG's new technology provides you with high
visibility in comparison with the existing evaporators. The
front window of the evaporator, terraced structure and slit
of heating block enable you to monitor comfortably the
progress of sample concentration.
A heating block system frees you from the hassle of wiping the
watery test tubes after sample concentration and the matters
of recurring water change and contamination unlike a water
bath system. The pull-out shelf of the evaporator enables you
to conveniently set up the test tubes.
The sealed front door of the fume hood prevents toxic gas
leaks and unpleasant smells. Solvent vapors can be vented
through the fan on the top. Evatros T.C.S™ has been designed
safely based on extensive research of user behavior patterns.
The incorporated timer in the evaporator prevents samples
from over-drying enabling samples to be safely recovered .
48 individual on/off switches have independent control of
each nozzle and all of these nozzles can be switched on
with 4 buttons, each controlling 12 nozzles. A variety of test
tube types can be used in accordance with your experimental
purposes. These features enable you to concentrate various
sample volumes .
A built-in gas generator eliminates ongoing costs associated
with re-ordering gas cylinders and reduces the need for
paying unnecessary down time costs associated with
discontinued experiment incurred by an interruption in gas
supply.
Gas blown in five different directions maximizes the efficiency
of sample concentration by drying the condensed solvent
formed on the wall of the test tube. The adjustable nozzles
can move downward to get closer to the samples during
operation reducing sample concentration time significantly.

of sample concentration.
Concentration time can be set on timer, and when operation
is finished, gas automatically shut off with alarm to
prevent samples from over-drying.
Pull-out shelf of the heating block enables a user to set
up samples conveniently and automatic sensor prevents
the nozzles from moving down with the shelf pulled-out.
Set button automatically set-up the nozzles to fit the test
tube height and Up/Down button fine-tunes the nozzle
height to move near samples. Origin button places the
nozzles back to the default position.
Aluminum heating block controls temperature ranging
from ambient to 80"( and design of thermal protector
and temperature sensor keeps the heating block at an
constant temperature.
Evatros mini requires a gas generator and it is compatible
with Evatros G, gas generator of Goojung Engineering
Co., Ltd.
Solvent evaporation (concentration) is part of sample preparation.
Solvent evaporation reduce sample volumes to appropriate level for the sensitivity of analytical instruments (LC, LC/MS, HPLC).
As big volume of solvent is used during extraction phase, analyte is diluted, so solvent evaporation is required. Trace analysis needs a lot of samples so that solvent evaporation should be mandatory process before analysis.
When a gas blowing evaporator is needed?
- When multiple samples required
- When a user needs analytical result within a specific period of time
- When a user needs precise and reproducible result
